Fresh off his X Games gold in the vert ramp, Pierre Luc Gagnon, has followed it up with a win at the Wendy's Invitational in Portland. It was the second stop of the Dew Tour and PLG dominated with multiple 720s, and flip tricks on almost every wall in between.Mr. Consistency, Andy McDonald, finished 2nd, and Brazilian vert veteran, Sandro Dias, brought home 3rd. With several of the other vert legends starting to focus on other outlets for their skateboarding, PLG is starting to take over on the vert ramp. Bob Burnquist and Rob Lorifice have been putting a lot of energy towards getting mega lately, and Bucky Lasek has pulled a Rune by becoming a force in the pool contests.PLG is the man to beat right now in vert, and unless Andy Mac, who is in 2nd in the overall standings, and Bucky Lasek, who is in third, step their game up, he's going to run a way with it.
